I have been working as an illustrator for 25 years, producing commercial illustrations for brochures, leaflets, packaging, books, press-ads; as well as commissions for individual clients.

Whatever the subject – be it a surgeon at work, a robot, landscapes, a portrait, or children at play – my approach is the same: to capture the essence of the subject simply and strongly.

I have experience working in different media - from highly realistic airbrush work to oils and watercolours to simple diagrammatic line art. Most of my current work is digital using the Mac.

My specialisation is in science and medicine, and many of the Folio examples are produced for Science Photo Library. But I am also very involved in worldwide healthcare work particularly for the Child-to-Child Trust, UNICEF and Macmillan.

Other clients include Astra, BBC, the Home Office, Pharmacia(Kabi), Bard, Macmillan, Wolfe Medical, Mims, MSD, Penguin, Synopsis, Boots, M&S, Asda, Lloyds TSB, Telstra.
